On Sunday 2nd October we’ll be starting our new evening service series, ‘Liberated’. In this series, we’ll go through the Ten Commandments from Deuteronomy 5:1-21, whilst using the rest of Deuteronomy to see why each commandment matters to us as twenty-first century Christians.

Now you maybe be thinking, ‘Deuteronomy?! How dull! Why would I want to learn about ancient laws that are outdated and irrelevant?’ Well,  in this series we’ll see that they are far from outdated an irrelevant – in fact they might just surprise you! But if you are still on the fence, don’t take my word for it, take David’s and Paul’s, ‘The law of the Lord is perfect refreshing the soul’ (Psalm 19:7), and ‘Christ is the culmination of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes.’ (Romans 10:4)
